Never afraid to push boundaries, the Tubular style that made waves in ’93 continues its evolution in these women’s shoes. The street-ready sneakers are built slim with a shimmery metallic neoprene upper and matching metallic leather heel. A mid foot strap provides a secure fit.
This shoe feels like a slipper with the functionality of a sneaker and I love that! I’m thinking its the neoprene at the top! Which is such a nice addition! I will say they run a bit bigger than the average Adidas shoe in my opinion, I would have even gone down another half size (I wear 7 in NIKE and I wear a 6.5 usually in Adidas but these could have gone to a 6!)
At first if your not used to or have worn his type of shoe before you may feel like it’s not secure but with the thick strap in front of the laces you have nothing to worry about and get that comfortable feeling you desire after walking around in them for a little!
I also have to say I love the detail on the tabs in the front and the back. The tab in front is much needed since the shoe is soft on top and needs to be pulled like a glove! ❤ The fact that is not just a material that will get dirty and stretched out and its an actual pull tab is awesome!
The metallic aspect is subtle unless light gets reflected and you hit that 0-100 real quick hahhaha This is the picture from the site and below that I’ll add my own as well!
Pictures below on the right are with flash and without on the left, this feature will show you what happens while you’re walking and a car passes or light reflects off your shoe 😉 TOO COOL!
