We are PREGNANT!!!! I couldn’t be more surprised/excited/nervous for this!

I am SO thankful that i decided to set up a camera and record Robby’s reaction it was the hardest thing ever to not run in and scream it out, but i know ill cherish this for years to come, our best “oops” ever!

Here’s some recent questions I’ve gotten quite a lot! 🙂 

How did you find out?

I had been scheduled to get my wisdom teeth taken out on June 6th and I had some consultations prior where they kept asking me if there was ANY CHANCE that I could be pregnant…after telling them I was sure. It got me thinking…was I really sure? lol

I had originally thought I was pmsing because I felt moody and VERY tired but realized what the date was & that I was a week late but more than that MY BOOBS REALLY HURT which was not a common pms symptom for me…I went and got myself a CLEAR BLUE test NEVER expecting it to say what I saw! lol

When is your due date?

My due date is January 16, 2019 and my birthday is January 25!

Finding out the gender? What do you want to have?

We have requested the doctor write it down and seal it! We plan on doing a gender reveal party sometime in September where we also will be finding out with our friends and family! My best friend will be the person who gets to know!

I have been feeling (and have always said) that I reallly want a boy, I was raised in an all woman household so I feel like it would be a fun adventure for us! THE REALITY though is my family is known for breeding girls…my grandma when she passed away had 13 grand and great grandchildren in which only 2 were boys so i’m really not getting my hopes up and will be PERFECTLY HAPPY with a healthy baby!

Were you trying?

We have been together for almost 6 years and i couldn’t ask for a better partner…that being said I can’t say we were trying lol by no means were we prepared for this aka our best “oops” ever! lol Kids…USE PROTECTION & BE SAFE!

How are you feeling during your first trimester?

This has been one of the most trying 12 weeks of my life, not only am I scared of the unknown responsibilities coming my way, I have been SO sick nearly my entire first trimester (13 weeks 2 days today!) & TBH i’m feeling pretty useless around the house…I can’t lie its been discouraging and almost depressing to see my whole routine change but I am a positive person with a positive outlook on life and I have a feeling this is going to be my best transformation ever…to go from being the baby in my family to having the baby of my family…this miracle will all be worth it!

p.s the outpouring of women who have reached out with the same experiences give me SO MUCH STRENGTH! Truly, thank you for that!

Are you still working out?

I have literally only been able to walk and go on bike rides between vomiting in random objects like boxes, sinks & trashcans lol (sorry not sorry) but i have been trying to burn at least 400 calories per day and I very much want to get back into a workout routine once i feel better! I have a lot of goals for myself during this pregnancy and there is no way i’m letting my hard work on the self love journey go away!
