Last night I went to my first official playbill broadway show & saw my forever fave…Jonathan Larson’s RENT! 

Pinch me, it was amazing…& Collins (Aaron Harrington) YOU STOLE THE SHOW!

ANYWAYS…I posted a picture on Instagram not wearing gym clothes for the first time in lord knows how long, I got a GREAT response (Thank You!!!!) because you all l felt like i wanted to share my outfit details with you guys!

As much as I love nice things, (& work my ass off for them!) as an athlete/personal trainer and someone who is constantly experimenting with new exercises, my body is in a constant change and I haven’t quite reached a point where I feel comfortable spending LOADS of money on nice clothes that will not fit months later.

THAT BEING SAID…My broadway “FANCY” UNDER FORTY commences! Let’s start with the dress:

SIMPLE-COMFORTABLE-SEXY & CLASSY

Everything you can ask for when you look good and feel comfortable all in one. This dress is from CHARLOTTE RUSSE and although the price tag is listed at $26.99 (& would be worth every penny at that!) their hefty sales brought it down to a cool $10.80!!! #SCORE

NOW THE SHOES:

As much as I wanted to stunt in miAdidas from earlier this week I figured i’d keep with the fancy theme and NOT wear sneakers! haha

These shoes have a short heel with a lace up front and a half zipper in the back, my favorite part about them aside from the fact that they are so comfortable is that they have braided straps and it really just adds a small but intricate detail to a cheap shoe giving it that extra pop of “where did she get those?!”

These are ALSO from Charlotte Russe, originally listed at 24.99. They had all shoes on sale for 50% off making these ring up at a pleasant $12.50 plus tax!

unfortunately I couldn’t find the exact shoe online but I found a slightly similar pair that I would wear and the $38.99 original price is only $19.49! I’m actually fighting myself from buying them right now, here.

 

LAST BUT NOT LEAST! X ACCESSORIES:

This picture is straight from my instagram story, I love adding little personal elements to my story and being interactive with my followers! I really did try this out for the first time last night and I got way to many compliments for it being such a simple piece of my outfit.

This trend is cute and I encourage you to branch out and have fun with your style, this is NOT something I would do everyday but fashion is your opportunity to take on your attitude as a personality! 😉
